We as believers have a goal set for our lives. We have to please God. As we continue living in this world, we go about our duties. In discharging our duties, we are pleasing the one who is our superior. In the same way we are duty bound to please our God. The epistle to the Hebrews gives us a brief glimpse of some of the heroes of faith.
Among the heroes of faith, Enoch pleased God. “By faith Enoch was translated so as not to see death, and he was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God”. Heb. 11:5. One day or the other every one of us will have to pass into eternity and that is sure if our Lord Jesus Christ will tarry. What will be the testimony we receive from God? Are we pleasing Him? In heaven what will the commendation well done good and faithful servant?
It is impossible to please God without faith. Most people will believe things they see. However, if you want to believe things that you do not see or believe things that will take place in the future, it requires faith. “Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see.” Heb. 11:1. It believes God personally. It is having faith in Him. How much faith do you have? God is a rewarder of those who seek Him diligently. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. Without faith, you cannot be saved. God’s salvation plan through Jesus Christ demands your faith.
