(Luke 12:27) “Consider the lilies, how they grow; they do not toil, they do not spin. And yet I say to you that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”
The beauty of the flowers is universally accepted. Flowers brighten any room, occasion or person. To is a very labor intense process to produce cloth. Solomon the king of Israel in all his glory could not match up to the lowly lily that grew in the field.

The flower did not work hard to make itself beautiful. The flower had its beauty built-in by its creator God and was exquisite in all its beauty and detail. God created man beautiful without sin. The disobedience of man led to sin to reign. The relationship with God was broken. God send His Son Jesus Christ our Lord to restore the fellowship between God and man. It is not the physical beauty but the purity and the beauty of holiness in us. This was imputed to anyone who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ. Only the can man worship God in the beauty of holiness. (Psa. 29:2) "Give to Jehovah the glory due to His name; worship Jehovah in the beauty of holiness." (Psa. 96:9) "O worship Jehovah in the beauty of holiness; fear before Him, all the earth." We have His beauty. (1John 3:2) "Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He shall be revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."
